OLLIE HENRY

In this Horses mouth I had the pleasure of chatting to Western Australian charger Ollie Henry, He's a professional surfer sponsored to chase waves and do his thing by Rusty - Ollie is one of those guys who gets the job done. Example we were chatting cars after our chat out on the street - I asked him if he had a duel battery as I know he spends a lot of time on the road camping and chasing slabs, he said no,,, would like one but its bucks at the moment I don't wanna spend - you can still go bush and camp and do all the things you need without one ----- I love this attitude as I thought ahhh I cant go long range without one --- get the job done with what you have at hand !!! you don't need all the bells and whistles you just need a sense of adventure and a set of gonads If you're chasing the sort of slabs Ollie is after !!! Not to be sexist but the guy is next fucken level and it's a saying more than anything re Gonad Man... bla bla bla 
Ollie is good fucken people and I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out and chatting - I hope you enjoy our yak !
 

TIM STEVENSON

Tim Stevenson is a real-life dude who walks the walk, he's understated as fuck - keeps his cards close to his chest from time to time, but in this chat we delve under the hood to see what makes Timmy tick.
The guy is a waterman, really that is enough said! but he truly is...I think I live my life by the winds tides and swell.... BUT Tim takes it to another level, he's constructed his life so he can chase waves all over the globe at the drop of a hat or the sniff of a red blob on a swell map.
He's the winner of the last 50-year storm international big wave contest in honor of Sean brooks here at Bells beach, also one of the founding members of the Jan Juc Boardriders and ex-president.
So all this said the man has and is living A LIFE !!!!! full of tails and experience

Alan ’ROUSA’ Rowsell

Rousa is the real deal and one of the respected elders of our tribe, and I feel grateful and fortunate to have had him over for a cuppa and a chat about life, what it means to walk the earth in a "Modern world', his journey and addiction to salt water and the octane that comes with it.
Rousa is part of the historical fabric of surfing in Torquay, his influence and friendships are wide and deep which is a reflection of his being, I had many requests to get Rousa on the horse's mouth and we were chatting last year about it - But he had a to sneak into Hospital for heart bypass surgery!!!!.....He is back and what a force of nature he is

DUNCAN ANDERSON

Duncan Anderson is a force, He's the Co-founder and CEO of Edrolo, which is reinventing how we teach our young, providing support with an easier-to-understand curriculum for students and teachers from years 7 -12 based around an antiquated system.
Duncan is a sponge he has a level of drive and thirst for knowledge that is seriously next level, which left me scratching my head, and enjoying the mental gymnastics of his sentences, words, and thoughts - I'd go as far as to say Duncan is an outlier.

CASEY EGAN

Casey Egan is one of those guys who's followed his heart from the jump.
He's grown up under the guide of his charging Dad Andrew Egan at bird rock which has given him some barrel riding skills and a larry layback which is arguably second to none - although he proclaims to not being able to go left!
He's a kept man to loving Ella and his son Otis, and he and Ella have been on a journey for a long time, that's taken them far and wide. Casey has worked in clothing design for 20-odd years taking him abroad and also starting his own denim business. On top of that after a stretch away he returned home and became one of the founding members of the Jan Juc boardriders club.

Zeb Walsh is a living breathing Bat outta hell, a family man, and an all-around good egg. he's the brand manager Aus for FCD surfboards ( Fletcher Chouinard ) son of Yvon Chouinard Patagonia Which is an amazing company with a mission statement that goes beyond profit! a trailblazer in the world and surf industry. 
Zebs was in the Horse's mouth 4 years ago, He's a madman of the highest order, a world champion open ocean paddler he's won the Molokai - Hawaii's most prestigious open water paddle race he's paddled bass straight from Victoria to Tasmania, and Queensland to Papua New Guinea to name but a few feats under his belt. And recently he paddled 120kms in open ocean from the California mainland around Catalina Island and back... FOR FUN....he did this with his mates Lachie Lansdown, Jack Bark and Lockie Holmes.
In this chat we go through this among other things.

Virginia Martin has many nicknames but BÚL is her fashion label and the childhood name that most know her by. In this chat the amazingly talented designer from Melbourne forcibly jumps in the hot seat and tells me what life was like as an angsty teenager with hopes and dreams of becoming a force behind the sewing machine and her journey of trials and tribulations to living her dream as a Fashion Designer, búl has created a unique and innovative signature style within the industry.

Shaun O'Callaghan is one of those people that I don't see all the time even though we blow around the same town. Still, when I do it's usually a great chat - O'y is a lightning rod of ideas and high octane energy which I love, the banter is always on. Even though it may start left field and loose, it usually turns deep and philosophical pretty quick which I also love.
O'ys a family man and hard worker who asks a lot of himself, through our chat I learned more about the real estate game and personal development which follows that path - whether that is true of all real estate agents or just O'ys journey through I'm yet to figure out :)
