TIM BONYTHON

This episode of The Horse's Mouth, I had the good fortune of speaking with none other than Tim Bonython.

Tim is a weapon behind the lens. He's been running around the globe chasing waves and surfers with a camera since 1978. Over the decades that followed, Tim has captured some of the most iconic moments in surfing and surf history, from the early days at Bells through to France, Spain (Nazaré), Teahupo'o (Tahiti), Fiji, and beyond.

He also produced the Hawaii Nine-O VHS series, from Nine-O through to Nine-7, which were some of my fav's to plug into instead of homework after school.

 

Tim takes us on a whirlwind tour through a life spent chasing waves, stories, and some of the biggest moments in surfing history.
